Amber Dupuy

Modern, Ballet

Amber Dupuy began her training at the age of three at Encore Dance Centre in San Dimas, CA. There she studied various dance forms such as ballet, tap, jazz, modern, and hip hop and continued on to study at the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts.  Upon graduating high school, Amber was accepted into the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA where she received a B.F.A. in Modern Dance Performance in May of 2010.  Along with numerous prestigious choreographers at the University of the Arts, Amber also had the privilege to apprentice with Zane Booker and his Smoke, Lilies, and Jade Arts Initiative during her time in college.  She continues to perform in the industry while choreographing for various entertainment companies and has also participated as a guest associate choreographer for the Musical Theater program at California State University, Fullerton. Stage/Live Performance: Steve Wynn’s Showstoppers (ensemble/onstage swing), Kelleia Sheerin’s Stripped: A New Wave Ballet (Vogue/dance captain), Nuit Blanche (ensemble), Eddie Garcia’s Twisted Branches (Peggy Branch), Melinda Sullivan’s Gone: A Sound and Theater Project (ensemble).
